NVF Student Leaders are the core members of Nova Vita Foundation. We hold a weekly meeting on Tuesday to discuss our future event ideas and organizational planning. Meet our student leaders below!

MEET STUDENT LEADERS

Naomi Hanabusa

El Toro High School
Senior

My name is Naomi Hanabusa. I am 17 years old and currently a senior at El Toro High School. Outside of school, I practice a martial art called Aikido where I sometimes assist teaching in the kids’ classes. What I enjoy being involved in Nova Vita is having the opportunity to build leadership and the skills to plan events for the community with our own hands. I want to make this organization a place where highschoolers help each other grow and give back to the society.

Cheryl Cichon

Fountain Valley High School
Junior

Hello, my name is Cheryl Cichon and I am 16 years old. I am a junior in high school and I attend Fountain valley high school. I enjoy making new friends, playing soccer, and making people laugh! This organization has helped me to be an independent and confident leader, it also allows me to communicate and interact with other individuals. I would like to grow this organization and one day be able to collaborate with other organization’s!!

Heyoo! My name is Andrew Hsieh and I am 16 years old and a Junior at Fountain Valley High School. Things I enjoy doing include: taking photos and videos, shuffling cards, and hanging out with friends! Something I enjoy doing sometimes, but most of the time I despise is running. Being a part of this organization is a great way to meet new people and have fun while helping others and the community. I hope to see NVF continue to host and run exciting events and fostering a place for people to do good things!

My name is Kodai Fujii. I am 16 years old and a junior at Aliso Niguel High school. My hobbies are basketball and piano. Through this organization, i hope to meet new people and give back to communities.

HEY!!! My name is Jayden Trinh, im 16 years old and a Junior in High School. I enjoy eating, running, and watching old 80’s films. My favorite parts of volunteering for this organization are making new awesome friends and learning the Japanese culture along the way.

My name is Aidan Kang and I am 16 yrs old junior in high school. I am currently attending ANHS and my hobbies are hanging out with my friends. Througj nova vita i hope to make enjoyable events and create bonds with fellow peers.

Aika Takahashi

Hi, I’m Aika! I’m 16 years old and a junior at Irvine High School. I like to dance and I’m on varsity dance team at my school. I also do taekwondo which I started a few years ago. This organization helped me meet new people and trying new things. I’m excited to be part of this organization again, and I can’t wait to help the community and work together as a group!!
